Following are some of the current initiatives:
CHANTING Competitions:
Geeta Bhakt – for those who CORRECTLY recite at least SIX chapters of Geeta.
- If Competition limited to GDGV only: Best in Class Award- Rs 1500
- If competition among Inter Schools: Best in Class Award- Rs 3000
Geeta Praveen – for those who CORRECTLY recite at least NINE Chapters of Geeta.
- If Competition limited to GDGV only: Best in Class Award- Rs 2500
- If competition among Inter Schools: Best in Class Award- Rs 5000
Geeta Ratan – for those who CORRECTLY recite the FULL Geeta.
- If Competition limited to GDGV only: Best in Class Award- Rs 5000
- If competition among Inter Schools: Best in Class Award- Rs 10000
Inter - College ESSAY & ORATORICAL Competitions:
Held annually, concurrent with the Gurudev Janam Divas event.
- Each of the Best 3 Essays award winners respectively will get Rs 5100, Rs 3100 & Rs 2100
- Each of the Best 3 Oratorical award winners respectively will get Rs 5100, Rs 3100 & Rs 2100
