International Geeta Conferences
International Geeta Conferences was a critical motive in Gurudev’s missionary zeal to take the message of Geeta across communities. After having travelled tirelessly to set up Geeta Ashrams in the American continent, Europe, Africa, South East Asia, he had laid the ground for reaching out to the community leaders, intellectuals and the educated and seeding in them the quest to know more about the “ Geeta way to live life” . Perhaps, another of his purpose to hold such events was to create a common ground for bonding the devotees from various Geeta Ashrams to create a solid, homogenous core group that could provide a strong underpinning to the perpetuity of his mission!
A specific verse from any chapter of the Bhagvad Geeta is chosen as the theme of the conference and eminent speakers present their commentaries at the sessions in these conferences. Of course, Guru Dev’s commentary was the most awaited discourse in these conferences.
